The Belgian Obstetric Surveillance System (B.OSS)
registers and analyses severe obstetric complications in Belgium since 2012.
These includes life-threatening complications were the mother nearly dies but survives thanks to an emergency intervention (Maternal Near Miss) and potentially life-threatening conditions (Sever Maternal Morbidity).
The registry of B.OSS is nationwide in all Belgian maternity hospitals.
